Green development is becoming the future orientation of every country around the world to join hands to stop climate change. Many countries are trying to use less carbon by adopting clean energy. To meet those requirements, electric transport, also known as e-Mobility, was created.
Many countries have participated in the development of green and eco - friendly fuel vehicles, Vietnam is not out of this trend. Not only are businesses actively developing new technologies, the university sector is also an important player in human resource training and research contributions.
In Vietnam, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) is one of the leading universities in science and technology. With that advantage, HUST is trying to promote the development of core technologies for electric vehicles, especially light electric vehicles (LEV).
On February 9, PCN Global Vina had a meeting to discuss the project on cooperation training and development of low-speed electric vehicles (LSEV) at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. This cooperation will support HUST's goal of training high-quality human resources as well as developing investment orientation of PCN in the electric vehicle.
PCN is a multinational company specializing in certification consulting and providing testing services for electronic household appliances with many branches around the world. The company has relation with many advanced technical universities and laboratories in Korea such as KTL, KTC, etc.
According to the content of the project, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will provide students and facilities during the training process. The university will also participate in research projects of LSEV. The PCN will transfer technology to support the training. In addition, PCN will connect and share the company's partner network of universities and laboratories in Korea.
Asscociate Professor Phuc, Director of Automotive Technical Training program under School of Mechanical Engineering of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, shared that this is a new field and attracted a lot of attention from the school, lecturers. The university has also studied this field for a long time, and also equipped a number of laboratories with related inventions.
Mr. Benedict Son, CEO & Founder of PCN, considers LSEV is easy to develop compared to EV. At the same time, the requirement of human resource in electric vehicles field will increase in the coming time. University cooperation is so important that young Vietnamese people can access to advanced technologies, thereby building and developing the nation's electric vehicle industry on their own and help Vietnam compete with other nations in the region.
